The Alamo Drafthouse Ritz is movie theater located in Austin’s iconic Sixth Street. The Ritz Theater was originally built in 1929 as Austin’s first movie theater specifically dedicated for “talkies”.  The 2009 renovation upgraded the historic theater to a location suitable for modern movie projection.
